Igor Mikhailovich Skorochodow ( Russian Игорь Михайлович Скороходов ; * 4. May 1986 in Cherepovets , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player , who throughout his career, among others, the HC Ugra , Severstal Cherepovets , Metallurg Novokuznetsk and HK Lada Togliatti in the Continental Hockey League was active.

Career

Igor Skorokhodov began his career as a hockey player in the junior division of Severstal Cherepovets , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 2003/04 season . After he began the following season in Cherepovets, he finished the 2004/05 season at HK tractor Chelyabinsk in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division. From 2005 to 2007 he played the attacker one long each for Chelyabinsk's league rivals, the second division clubs HK Lipetsk and HK Belgorod . In the 2006/07 season he started with Vitjas Chekhov in the Super League, but was transferred to his ex-club HK Belgorod from the Wysschaja Liga during the season.

In the summer of 2008 Skorokhodow signed with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk from the Vysschaya League, with which he was second division champion in the following two years and in 2010 also rose to the Continental Hockey League .

In May 2014 HK Yugra Skorochodow exchanged for Nikita Filatow from Salawat Yulayev Ufa and was subsequently used mainly at Toros Neftekamsk in the Vysschaya Hockey League . In May 2015 he returned to his hometown club Severstal and played there until Christmas 2016 before he was handed over to Metallurg Novokuznetsk .

In 2018 he returned to HK Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk before ending his career in October 2018.
