Igor Nikolajewitsch Ussatschow ( Russian И́горь Никола́евич Усачёв ; born October 15, 1983 in Kuibyshev ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Ussatschow has mainly participated in the Eastern Europe Cup since 2007 . He has taken three wins so far and came second in the 2007/08 season . He ran his first World Cup race in October 2006 in Düsseldorf , which he finished in 62nd place in the sprint. At the 2007 Winter Universiade in Pragelato , he finished 28th in the sprint. In January 2009 he got his first World Cup points in Rybinsk with the 14th place in the sprint. He repeated this placement in January 2012 in the sprint in Otepää . In March 2012 he became the Russian sprint champion in Tyumen . He achieved his best position in the World Cup singles in February 2013 in Davos with 12th place in the sprint.
