Ihor Duhinez
Ihor Oleksijowytsch Duhinez ( Ukrainian Ігор Олексійович Дугінец , English transcription Ihor Duhinets; born May 20, 1956 in Kujbysheve , Bakhchysaray district ) is a former Ukrainian discus thrower who competed for the Soviet Union .
In 1975 he won bronze at the European Athletics Junior Championships in Piraeus , and in 1978 he was tenth at the European Athletics Championships in Prague . In 1979 he was third at the European Athletics Cup in Turin and fifth at the World Athletics Cup in Montreal .
At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, he came in sixth place.
In 1982 he won silver at the European Championships in Athens , and in 1983 he was eleventh at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki .
In 1978 and 1982 (with his personal best of 68.52 m) he became Soviet champion.
