Ihor Lwowytsch Rajnin ( Ukrainian Ігор Львович Райнін ; born August 6, 1973 in Kharkiv , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian politician. Since September 2016 he has been the head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine .

Life

Ihor Rajnin graduated from Mykola Zhukovsky National University in 1997 as an engineer. He then attended the Kharkiv Department of the National Academy of Public Administration, which he obtained in 2000 with a master's degree and as a candidate of sciencegraduated in public administration. He then held leading positions in public administration in Ukraine. Rajnin was First Deputy Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration from April to November 2014 and Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine from November 2014 to February 2015. Between February 2015 and August 2016 he headed the Kharkiv regional state administration. On August 29, 2016, by decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko , Rajnin was appointed head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine and a member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine , succeeding Borys Loschkin .
