The Presidential Office of Ukraine ( Ukrainian Адміністрація Президента України / Administrazija Presydenta Ukrajiny informally also Bankowa / Банкова ) is the authority of the President of Ukraine in the Ukrainian capital Kiev .
tasks
The task of the presidential office is to support the presidents by providing administrative, advisory, analysis and legal assistance to the president. The Office of the President organizes communication and official statements between the President and Parliament , the Cabinet of Ministers , the Constitutional Court, local authorities and other institutions.
Borys Loschkin has been the head of the authority since June 10, 2014 . The first deputy head was Hennadij Subko on June 10, 2014, and Vitaly Kovalchuk has held this post since his appointment as minister in December 2014 .

The presidential office is located in downtown Kiev on Wulyzja Bankowa ( Вулиця Банкова ) 11 across from the house with the chimeras and next to the house of the weeping widow .

The Presidential Office building was created between 1936 and 1939 , based on the design of the Kharkiv architect Serhiy Hryhor'jew, by adding and assembling two- and three-story buildings erected in 1877 for the staff of the Kiev military district. It combines elements of classicism and Ukrainian baroque . It consists of a six-storey middle section with six Corinthian columns and two side wings with five storeys each and arcade loggias . After the Second World War , the building was the seat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine until the independence of Ukraine . Among other things, Nikita Khrushchev had his office here. Leonid Kravchuk , the first president of independent Ukraine, declared the building to be the building of the Presidential Office of Ukraine on December 13, 1991, which started its work on January 8, 1992.
