Borys Jewhenowytsch Loschkin (born October 23, 1971 in Kharkiv ) is a Ukrainian media entrepreneur and politician.

Loschkin was appointed head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine on June 10, 2014 by decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and has been a member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine since June 16, 2014 . On August 29, 2016, he was dismissed from the position of head of the presidential administration.

As president of the board of directors and chairman of the United Media Holding group as well as board member of the World Association of Newspapers , Loschkin ranks 17th in the list of the most influential media managers in the CIS in 2013 .

biography

Loschkin began working as a freelance journalist at the age of 14. In 1986 he graduated from high school in Kharkiv and since 1988 has been working as a journalist for a Kharkiv newspaper. In 1990 Loschkin founded the private newspaper ATV (Kharkiv), in which he also worked as editor-in-chief, and from 1990 to 1994 he studied Russian language and literature at the Kharkiv State Pedagogical Institute . In the following years Loschkin built a media group. On June 4, 2003, President Leonid Kuchma awarded him the title of Honored Journalist of Ukraine . Loschin is married and has a daughter born in 1994.
