Ilario Pegorari (born January 9, 1949 in Caspoggio , † August 17, 1982 in Ohakune , New Zealand ) was an Italian ski racer and trainer. Pegorari is a two-time Italian champion in slalom (1972) and in combination (1973).

At the beginning of the 1970s he belonged to the strong Italian slalom and giant slalom team together with Gustav Thöni and Piero Gros . His most successful season was 1972/73 when he finished fifth in the individual World Cup ranking in slalom. This season he achieved the best individual results of his career with a second place in Mont Sainte-Anne and a third place in the Naeba Ski Resort .

After finishing his active career, Pegorari became the coach of the Italian national ski team. He was killed in a car accident in New Zealand in 1982. The Italian ski racer Bruno Nöckler and his coaching colleague Karl Pichler died with him .
