Ildar Ferdinandowitsch Achmerow

Ildar Ferdinandowitsch Achmerow ( Russian Ильдар Фердинандович Ахмеров ; born August 7, 1965 in Kazan ) is a Russian military who was the commander of the Caspian flotilla from 2014 to 2015 .

Life

Achmerow graduated from the SO Makarow officers' college of the Soviet naval fleet in 1987 . He first served in the Pacific Fleet as the commander of the large submarine fighter Admiral Vinogradow , then as chief of staff and deputy commander of the 44th submarine brigade and finally as the commander of this brigade. After serving as the Deputy Commander of the Primorsk Flotilla Mixed Forces of the Pacific Fleet, he served as Chief of Staff and 1st Deputy Commander of the Caspian Flotilla. The Seekriegsakademie he successfully from 2003 onwards. In 2013 he graduated from the Faculty of National Security and Defense of the State of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces in Moscow. By presidential decree of July 4, 2014, he was appointed commander of the Caspian Flotilla. Since May 2015 he has served as Chief of Staff of the Kola Mixed Forces Flotilla of the Northern Fleet .

Achmerow is married and has two daughters.
