The Ilfracombe Urban District was an urban district in Devon . It only included the Ilfracombe parish .
history
The district was created in 1894 when places that did not become municipal boroughs became urban districts . With the Local Government Act 1972 , which came into force on April 1, 1974, it became part of the new District of North Devon . In 1911 the district had an area of 5,627 Statute Acres (approx. 22.77 km² ).
