Ilias Kantzouris
Ilias Kantzouris (born August 11, 1973 ) is a Greek basketball coach .
Coaching career
Professional clubs
Kantzouris began his coaching career in 2000 as an assistant coach for the Greek basketball club Apollon Patras . He then worked as an assistant coach for the Greek clubs Near East , Aris Thessaloniki , and Sporting Athens . This was followed by positions at AEK Athens and Panellinios Athens .
He was the assistant coach of the Lithuanian basketball club Žalgiris Kaunas in the 2011–2012 season. In the 2013-2014 season he was assistant coach for the Russian club UNICS Kazan . He then switched to the German Bundesliga club and series champion Brose Bamberg , where he has been assistant coach since 2014, with a short break when he was interim coach in 2018 after Brose Bamberg split from Andrea Trinchieri and before Luca Banchi was signed.
Greek national team
Kantzouris worked as an assistant coach for the Greek national team in 2013.
