The Illustrierte Beobachter was a weekly magazine of the NSDAP and was published from 1926 to 1945 by Franz-Eher-Verlag in Munich .

The NS weekly newspaper Der Eisenhammer, also published from 1926 and until 1932, with the editor Heinrich Foerster, served the observer temporarily as a supplement and was sometimes also called the illustrated Eisenhammer supplement .
