The Emin He ( Kazakh Еміл ( Emil ); Russian Эмель ( Emel )) is a river that is mostly known by its Mongolian and Uighur names (Chinese Emin He 额敏 oder) or Yelimi He (Chinese 葉 密 立 河 / 叶 密 立 河).

It rises in the Tarbagatai Mountains in Xinjiang , People's Republic of China, in the area where the Tarbagatai Mountains border the (Chinese) Wurigaxia Mountains (吾 吾 喀夏 山 Wurigaxia Shan). He southwest flows through the south of the district Tacheng and flows into Kazakhstan in the Ala-Kul Lake . It forms the largest water system in the Tacheng Basin . Within China it has a length of 220 km. The Emin He forms a very fish-rich body of water.
