Impavido class
The Impavido class was a destroyer class in the Italian Navy . The class consisted of the multi-purpose ships in service from 1963 to 1991

- Intrepido (D 571).
It was an improved Indomito class (1955) and the first guided missile destroyers built in Italy . The main task of these ships, built in Riva Trigoso ( Genoa ) and Livorno, was to lead small naval units, and especially to defend them against attacks from the air. They retired from active service in 1991 and were replaced by the two De la Penne class destroyers .
