The Moonlite BunnyRanch (often mistakenly Moonlight , although this is the correct spelling of the street the ranch is on) is a legal, licensed brothel in Mound House, Lyon County, Nevada, about six miles east of Carson City . The " ranch " belonged to Dennis Hof until his death in October 2018. The Bunny Ranch Two , a branch of the company, is located one mile south of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch.

The BunnyRanch is a popular topic on several radio talk shows such as B. the Howard Stern show .

history

The brothel, now known as the Moonlite BunnyRanch, opened in 1955. It went about its business discretely until Nevada began regulating prostitution in brothels in 1970 . Dennis Hof, a customer, bought the company for $ 1 million in 1993 and invested an additional $ 500,000 in renovations and furnishings.

The BunnyRanch pays tribute to its business with its address ( 69 Moonlight Road) and phone number (which ends in 3825, which translates to FUCK on a phone).

Hof later bought another nearby brothel known as Madame Kitty's Fantasy Ranch about a mile away. After a short time under the changed name of Kitty's Pussycat Lounge , Hof decided in 2003 to rename it again to BunnyRanch Two in order to make more profit from the brand name "BunnyRanch".

On April 23, 2001, an article about Dennis Hof and the BunnyRanch appeared in The New Yorker magazine ; On December 8, 2002, the ranch was featured on the America Undercover Show Special: "Cathouse" program on HBO . Since 2005, it has been the only brothel featured weekly on HBO in "Cathouse: The Series".

Porn actress Sunset Thomas worked on the ranch from 2002 to 2004 or 2005 when she broke up with her boyfriend at the time, Dennis Hof. The porn actress India worked temporarily as a prostitute in the BunnyRanch brothel. Another well-known actress is Air Force Amy, who has since left the ranch for a competitor. Divine Brown , best known for her arrest while working on film star Hugh Grant , also worked at the BunnyRanch. Other well-known people who worked on the ranch are Kendra Jade, Suzi Suzuki and Teri Weigel .
