The Imperial Majesty Cruise Line was founded in Florida in 1999. The first ship of the company was the 1955 lines passenger ship in service Asked Ocean Breeze . In the next four years, the ship was used for two to three-day cruises from Fort Lauderdale to Nassau.

In 2003 the Imperial Majesty Cruise Line decided to replace the aging ship. Successor to the Ocean Breeze was in 1953, commissioned in Regal Empress , since the insolvency of Regal Cruise Line in Port Manatee rested . The new ship was two years older than the OceanBreeze , but unlike her, it complied with the latest safety regulations and was in good condition. The Regal Empress took over the route of the Ocean Breeze for the next six years. The OceanBreeze was sold to Chittagong to be scrapped .

On March 15, 2009, the Regal Empress ended her last cruise for the Imperial Majesty Cruise Line because it did not comply with the safety regulations that came into force in 2010 (SOLAS 2010). The ship was therefore for breaking into the Indian Alang sold, where it arrived in July 2009 and was completely dismantled there until March of 2010.

The Imperial Majesty Cruise Line was dissolved after the sale of the Regal Empress and replaced by the newly founded Celebration Cruise Line. The only ship of the new shipping company was the Bahamas Celebration , which was used on the same route as the Regal Empress .
