Impressions Games was a British developer and publisher of computer games for Amiga and PC . Impressions Games was founded in 1989 by David Lester . In 1995 the company was taken over by Sierra . In 2004, the Sierra, now part of Vivendi, closed as part of restructuring measures, including Impressions Games.
The most famous games from Impressions Games were part 1–3 of the building strategy game series Caesar as well as the very similar games Pharaoh , Ruler of Olympus - Zeus and The First Emperor , the series of Lords of the Realm and later Lords of Magic games as well the business simulation Rüsselsheim .
