In Strict Confidence is a German electronic band.
history
The band was founded in 1989/90 under the name Seal of Secrecy . In 1992 she renamed herself In Strict Confidence and released her first tape called Sound Attack . After the release of the double tape Hell Inside / Hell Outside , which was recorded at the Höchst monastery , the band first received the attention of a larger audience and several labels. In 1996, the decision was made to use the Zoth Ommog label and the following year they started their first tour of Germany. With Face the Fear they established themselves in the electro scene across Europe in 1998. In 1999 the band completed a US tour together with their friends, Das Ich .
music
The band initially combined hard electro with melodic electro-wave elements. With the third album "Love Kills!" There was a change to technoid-influenced electro. From the beginning, however, the band distanced itself from the EBM movement to which they were often assigned.
