The real thing is the second album by the Hamburg band Die Sterne . It was recorded in the Soundgarden Studio in Hamburg and was released in 1994 on the L'age d'Or label .

Track information
Il Silenzio was written by Frank Spilker alone and Josef Thoene plays the trumpet as a guest musician on this track . All other tracks were written by the entire band.
Publications
The album was re-released in 2005. It contains four bonus tracks, with the songs Jealousy Speaks and Now not featured on any previous release. The title Klammer zu is taken from the EP Universal Tellerwäscher and Swinging Safari can originally be found on the album Posen .
