Ina Heinemann

Ina Heinemann (born September 16, 1976 in Arnstadt ), married Ina Vollmering , is a former German track cyclist .

Athletic career

Twice Ina Heinemann was responsible for the RSC Cottbus started, junior world champion in the sprint : 1993 in Perth and 1994 in Quito . In 1992 she had finished fourth in the sprint at the Junior World Championships in Athens . At the 1994 World Championships in Quito, she also set a new junior women's world record over 200 meters after a flying start with 11.291 seconds , a record that lasted until 2006.

Private

In October 1995, the minibus in which Heinemann was traveling with her then trainer Detlef Uibel had an accident . Both were seriously injured. Ina Heinemann suffered paraplegia and has been in a wheelchair ever since.

She is married and has a daughter.
