Indira Gandhi Award
The Indira Gandhi Award ( Indira Gandhi Award for the Best First Film of a Director ) is presented to the best debut film as part of the National Film Awards . The award is named after the former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi (1917–1984).
Currently, the producer and director of the winning film each receive a Swarna Kamal and prize money of 125,000 rupees .
