The Indradhanush Parbat is a 6739 meter high mountain in the Garhwal Himalayas in the Indian state of Uttarakhand .
The mountain is located in the eastern part of the Gangotri group . On its western flank, the Suralaya glacier flows north to the Chaturangi glacier . The 7075 m high Satopanth rises on the other side of the Suralaya Glacier 5.1 km southwest of the Indradhanush Parbat.
The Indradhanush Parbat was first climbed on September 22, 1994 by a group of Australian climbers.
Since there was confusion in the past about the naming of this summit and the 2.47 km north-west Chandra Parbat (6728 m) summit , the Australians christened Indradhanush Parbat , which can be translated as "rainbow mountain".
