Indukti is a progressive metal band from Poland .
history
Indukti was probably founded in 2000 and emerged from the Vein group. Many of the band members are trained musicians, some come from the field of classical music and are also involved in other projects. The debut album S.USAR was released in Poland in September 2004 and then worldwide on September 6, 2005. In early 2008 Indukti announced on their homepage that they would start recording their second studio album Idmen , which was released the following year.
Band members
- Wawrzyniec Dramowicz (drums) graduated from McGill University in Montreal , is a member of the Philharmonic Orchestra Poland and was a member of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra .
- Ewa Jablonska (violin) studied music and was formerly a member of the Polish bands Kokszoman , Halucyna and Vein .
- Piotr Kocimski (guitar) is a trained musician and psychologist.
- Maciej Jaskiewicz (guitar) was a member of several metal projects.
- Maciej Adamczyk (electric bass).
Anna Faber (harp) and Mariusz Duda , singer of the band Riverside , support the quintet as guest musicians on the debut album SUSAR . In return, Dramowicz played the drums on Duda's solo album Lunatic Soul in 2008 .
style
Indukti's music can be assigned to progressive rock , between progressive metal, new art rock , retro-prog and supplemented with elements of classical music. A specialty is the use of the violin.
