The Kalle-Albert industrial park is an industrial site in Wiesbaden about one square kilometer in size . It emerged in 1997 from the Kalle-Albert plant of Hoechst AG , which was formed in 1989 through the merger of the Kalle plant in Biebrich and the Albert plant in Amöneburg . There are around 300 production, pilot plant, laboratory and storage buildings as well as office and open spaces on the site. Some of the 80 companies located there belong to the chemical industry and employ around 5,400 people. InfraServ Wiesbaden is the owner of the land and the operator of the infrastructure, including energy supply systems for electricity, steam, cooling, cooling water and technical gases .

The industrial park has a port, a power plant and a connection to the Wiesbaden Ost train station as well as a biological wastewater treatment plant on the Petersaue island in the Rhine . Some companies fall under the Hazardous Incident Ordinance (StöV, StFV) and are subject to the Federal Immission Control Act (BImschG).
