Information on Schleswig-Holstein Contemporary History (ISHZ) is a historical scientific journal published by the Working Group for Research into National Socialism in Schleswig-Holstein eV (AKENS) . It appears irregularly, usually once a year. Predecessor was founded in 1983 Info -called magazine of AKENS to which the counting of the outputs of ISHZ with no. 18 joined.
The magazine was founded for the purpose of “sustainable research into National Socialism in Schleswig-Holstein ”, which was previously “systematically neglected, hindered or even made impossible”, as the AKENS explains. According to the association, this explicitly includes “its history and its consequences for the period after 1945.” The journal's co-founder and publisher was the historian Detlef Korte .
