Inge Vesten

Inge Vesten (born March 17, 1908 ; † after 1939) was a German actress , singer ( soprano ) and cabaret artist .

Vesten, about whose training and artistic beginnings nothing is known, probably came from cabaret and cabaret. She worked in the thirties as a hit, operetta and radio singer. Your vocal range was sometimes given soprano on radio programs. She also appeared on the television program of the Berlin television station Paul Nipkow ; there is evidence of her participation in several short television games.

Vesten also has some sound recordings, where she can mostly be heard as a chorus singer, so u. a. the foxtrot and the music from the operetta season in Salzburg (recorded in January 1939) and the foxtrot Have you seen Miss Molly's new hat from the sound film Es shine the stars (1938) (with Rudi Schuricke as partner ). From February 1939 there is a recording of Vemmen with the operetta hit Wenn der Toni with Vroni ; she was accompanied by the Egon Kaiser dance orchestra . Between 1934 and 1938 she also worked in smaller roles in several German films as an actress and singer ( Truxa ).

Vesten was a popular artist in the 1930s. Also brought out a cigarette collection picture by Inge Vesten from the Garbaty cigarette factory in Berlin-Pankow . A surviving photograph from 1937 shows Vesten together with the operetta composer Paul Lincke .
