Ingeborg Hedderich

Ingeborg Hedderich (* 1959 in Essen) is a German educational scientist and special education teacher.

Career

Ingeborg Hedderich studied special education at the universities of Cologne and Frankfurt am Main. She did her doctorate in 1991 at the University of Cologne and in 1998 became professor for didactics and methodology of curative and special education at the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences . In 2006 she took over the chair for physically disabled education at the University of Leipzig . Ingeborg Hedderich has held the Chair of Special Education with a focus on society, participation and disability at the University of Zurich since 2011 .

Research priorities

Her main research areas are: participatory research , international special education, migration, inclusion, burnout and Montessori education . To this end, it maintains international research collaborations.
