Ingo Sick (* 1939 ) is a Swiss experimental nuclear physicist .

Life

Sick received his doctorate in 1968 from the University of Basel . Since 1983 he was Associate Professor for Experimental Physics in Basel and from 1993, as the successor to Eugen Baumgartner, Full Professor. In 2004 he retired. He is mainly concerned with electron scattering on nuclei and nucleons. In 1987 he and Bernard Frois received the Tom W. Bonner Prize for Nuclear Physics .
