Ingrid Cords
Ingrid Cords (born January 13, 1940 in Landsberg / Warthe ) is a German SPD politician and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .
Life
Ingrid Cords grew up in the Ore Mountains and has lived in Hamburg since 1953 and has a son. Ingrid Cords is a qualified financial accountant . She was employed until 2001 and is now retired. As an employee , she was also a works councilor. She is also a member of IG Metall and the "Working Group for Employee Issues"
In 1977 she joined the SPD. Before her mandate in the city parliament, she was on the district executive committee and Hamburg state executive committee of the SPD. Until 1997 she was also the parliamentary group chairwoman of the Süderelbe local committee .
She was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 1997 to 2008. She represented the SPD in the submission committee, budget committee, urban development committee and environmental committee.
