Ingrid Siebke

Ingrid Siebke (born September 13, 1948 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1994 to 2009 she was a member of the state parliament of Brandenburg .

Life and work

Ingrid Siebke graduated from high school in 1967 and studied German and history from 1967 to 1971 at the Pedagogical University of Potsdam , where she graduated as a qualified teacher. From 1971 to 1994 she worked as a teacher at various schools. She is a Protestant, married and has two children.

Political commitment

Ingrid Siebke has been a member of the SPD since 1990. In local politics she was from 1990 to 1994 and has been a member of the Oder-Spree district council since 2003. There she is a substitute member of the Committee of Social Affairs and Health. Since 1993 she has also been a member of the Eisenhüttenstadt city ​​council .

On October 11, 1994, she entered the Brandenburg state parliament for the first time. There she represented the Oder-Spree IV constituency and, from October 2004, the Oder-Spree II constituency . She last entered the state parliament in 2004 through her party's state list. For her group she was a member of the Petitions Committee from 1994 to 1999 . In addition, she was a member of the Committee for Education, Youth and Sport from 1994 to 2009, of which she was deputy chairman in the third electoral term (1999-2004).

In addition to her partisan work, she is the chairwoman of the Documentation Center for Everyday Culture of the GDR in Eisenhüttenstadt as well as a member of the supervisory board of the “Alten- und Pflegeheim Eisenhüttenstadt”.
