Ingrid Streicher

Ingrid Streicher (born September 15, 1943 in Perg ) is an Austrian business educator and writer .

Live and act

Streicher, née Froschauer, attended compulsory school in Perg and the commercial academy in Linz . After studying at the University of World Trade in Vienna (until 1967), she initially worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Regional Planning and then taught at the Federal Trade Academy in Waidhofen an der Ybbs from 1969 to 2000 . She married Heimwald in 1971 († 1991) and is the mother of a son (* 1973). In 1977 she completed her second degree (business education) and received the professional title of professor in 1978.

Until the death of her husband, who had to be in need of care for many years, her literary work was limited to participating in anthologies , and it was not until 1991 that she began her own publications. She is a member of the IG Authors Authors and the Stelzhamer Association . She writes poetry , short prose and short stories; Poems were set to music by Martin Ortner and Hubert Schoder . She has won awards at several literary competitions.
