Ingrid Trobisch
Ingrid Trobisch (born Ingrid Hult ; born February 17, 1926 in Moshi , Tanzania , † October 23, 2007 in Springfield , Missouri ) was an American missionary to Africa , co-founder of the Family Life Mission and author.
Life
Trobisch, born as the daughter of a Swedish missionary family (Ralph and Gertrude Jacobson Hult) in Tanzania, grew up in the USA. As a young woman, she went to Cameroon as a missionary .
Her first marriage since 1952 to the German pastor Walter Trobisch , who died in 1979 , she founded the Family Life Mission with him . Since 1999 Trobisch was married to Pastor Lauren Youngdale in second marriage.
The New Testament scholar David Trobisch is a son of Ingrid Trobisch from her first marriage.
