Walter Trobisch
Walter Trobisch (* 1923 in Leipzig ; † October 13, 1979 ) was a German pastor, missionary , author and co-founder of the Family Life Mission .
Life
Walter Trobisch studied theology in Vienna, Leipzig, Heidelberg, Paris and Rock Island. In June 1952 he married Ingrid Hult (1926-2007), with whom he founded the Family Life Mission ; the marriage resulted in five children.
Trobisch had been in the service of the Lutheran Church in Cameroon since 1953 and made lecture tours through Africa in Tanzania , Zambia and Ethiopia in the mid-1960s .
The New Testament scholar David Trobisch is a son of Walter and Ingrid Trobisch.
