Ingrun Helgard Möckel (* 1941 ; † October 1977 ) was a German photo model and beauty queen .

Career

On May 29, 1960, the 18-year-old music student in Baden-Baden was named Miss Germany . At the Miss Universe 1960 she reached the semifinals on July 9 in Miami Beach (Florida, USA), at the Miss World in the same year on November 10 in London she reached fourth place. On June 6, 1961, she became Miss Europe in Beirut elected. These successes made her a star model in Eileen Ford's agency . She had meanwhile given up studying music.

In April 1966 she married the businessman Johannes Neckermann, who worked in the marketing department of Neckermann Versand , he was the son of Josef Neckermann . The couple had lived in Frankfurt am Main since 1967.

Ingrun Neckermann died in October 1977 in a car accident. She had three children (* 1967, 1969 and 1975).
