Stage manager veterinary medicine of the Bundeswehr
The inspector veterinary medicine of the Bundeswehr (InspizVetMedBw) inspects departments and facilities in which medical officers are deployed on behalf of the inspector of the medical service of the Bundeswehr . As the highest medical officer veterinarian in the Bundeswehr with the rank of senior veterinarian , he represents the license to practice veterinary medicine . Among other things, he represents their interests vis-à-vis the medical and military management as well as vis-à-vis the Federal Veterinary Association and the State Veterinary Associations . In his role as stage manager, he advises the inspector and the general / admiral doctors of the military organizational areas as well as the command doctor of the command and control command of the Bundeswehr on technical matters .
The office was held until September 2012 by the head of the "Veterinary affairs" department in the Bundeswehr Medical Office . Since October 2012, the InspizVetMedBw, like the other stage managers in the medical service of the Bundeswehr, has been a member of the medical service command of the Bundeswehr and reports directly to the inspector of the medical service in his function as stage manager. The InspizVetMedBw heads subdivision IV "Veterinary affairs" in the Bundeswehr Medical Service Command.
