Institute islamskoi ziwilisazii

The institute islamskoi ziwilisazii ("Institute of Islamic Civilization"; Russian Институт исламской цивилизации ; scientific transliteration Institut islamskoj civilizacii ; Arabic معهد الحضارة الإسلامية; engl. Moscow Institute of Islamic Civilization) in Moscow is a non-governmental organization which aims at the scientific research and popularization of knowledge about Islam in Russia and the CIS .

Its director is the Arabist and orientalist Said Chaibullowitsch Kjamilew (Said Hibatullah Kyamilev). In 1997, in cooperation with the Moscow State Pedagogical University (MPSU) and the Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), it opened a department specializing in Arabic and Islamic studies headed by Kjamilev.
