First, the Campus Francisco de Sola facility in Managua was founded in 1964 and then, in 1984, the Walter Kissling Gam campus in Alajuela, Costa Rica. This campus is located on a former country club, where all students usually live during their studies.

The current Dean of INCAE Business School is Arturo Condo, who did his doctorate at Michael Porter's Institute at Harvard Business School. Arturo Condo is also a Senior Institute Associate at the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School, headed by Michael Porter. Michael Porter also holds an honorary doctorate from INCAE Business School. The INCAE School is still very well known and renowned for its focus on sustainable management.
