Integrated Natural Resource Management

Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM) is an interdisciplinary applied master degree program, the natural and social sciences provides knowledge. The foundations for the development of the modular constructed sustainability - study program were laid in the 1990s. INRM aims to train professionals who deal with the management of natural resources such as water, food and energy.

Course content

The content of the course come from different areas of knowledge: the ecology , the crops , the livestock , the production technology , the environmental management , the management of resources and the institutional and policy analysis .

The four-semester course ends with a Master of Science . The language of instruction is English .

Study locations

INRM can be studied in Germany at the Albrecht Daniel Thaer Institute for Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences at the Humboldt University in Berlin , the Technical University of Cologne and the Technical University of Bergakademie Freiberg .

Career prospects

Fields of application for the examiners are, for example, the agricultural and environmental economy. Activities in authorities, in the service sector and in science can be carried out. For graduates of the course it is also possible to become employees of companies whose area of ​​responsibility lies in the area of ​​non-nationally limited cooperation. These include the German Society for International Cooperation and the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Raw Materials .
