The HHD GmbH (formerly Inter Chalet Ferienhaus-Gesellschaft mbH) is a tourism company based in Freiburg , the holiday in the cottage offers.
Inter Chalet was founded in 1974 by the former managing director Michael Heines. The company offers holiday homes, holiday apartments and holiday complexes worldwide for booking, on its website and in its seven annual catalogs as well as via the booking and Airbnb platforms and in travel agencies.
In August 2011, the Freiburg shared office of Friedrich Graf von Westphalen and partner with that 27% of the shares of Inter Chalet 1 November 2011 for an undisclosed purchase price to the Swiss company Hotelplan Group , a subsidiary of Migros are sold group and the remaining shares are to follow two years later. The complete takeover was completed on November 1, 2013.
On November 1, 2015, the founder Michael Heines handed over the sole management of Inter Chalet Ferienhaus-Gesellschaft mbH to Jytte Kolbe-Toft. The successor organization HHD GmbH is jointly managed as managing directors by Jörg Herrmann and Michael Figlestahler.
The portfolio of the Holiday Home Division of the Hotelplan Group with the brands Interhome and Interchalet consists of around 50,000 holiday homes and apartments in 31 countries. In 2018, the Holiday Home Division brokered 1.5 million holiday guests with an invoiced turnover of CHF 359 million.
