The Interbrush (proper spelling Interbrush ) is the world's leading trade fair for raw materials, bristles , and machines for the production of brushes , brush , paint roller and mop . It is organized by Messe Freiburg .

history

Since 1960 there have been regular meetings of the brush and paintbrush industry in Freiburg. The background was that the production of brushes and brooms was traditionally very widespread in the southern Black Forest and the market leader for brush machines Zahoransky also comes from the area. The first fair took place in 1977 under the name Interbrossa . A 3-year cycle was planned. After the second fair in 1980, this was converted into the 4-year mode that is still used today.

Key figures

The exhibition area extends over all halls of the exhibition center. At the last Interbrush from April 27 to 29, 2016 exhibitors from 29 countries were represented. Around 7,500 visitors came. The visitors from abroad came from 90 countries. The exhibition area was 21,500 m². Due to the Covid-19 pandemic , the exhibition planned for May 2020 has been postponed to May 2022.
