The International Boxing Organization (IBO) is a boxing organization that organizes official fights and awards the IBO world title in professional boxing. It is based in Coral Gables , Florida (USA).

The IBO is an insignificant, small organization in relation to the four large and internationally recognized organizations WBC , WBA , WBO and IBF . Lennox Lewis , Wladimir Klitschko , Tyson Fury , Anthony Joshua , Marco Huck and Gennadi Golowkin are some of the few well-known boxers who hold or have held an IBO title.

The IBO bought the independent computer ranking IWBR but never managed to capitalize on it. However, she already had several boxers as title holders, who were rated number one in the independent rankings, although they did not hold any title of the other world associations at the time. A prominent example was Antonio Tarver , who was linear world champion after his victory over Roy Jones junior and was considered a "real light heavyweight world champion " until he lost to Hopkins.
