The IJA Stage Championships are the official world championships in juggling which award medals and prize money to participating jugglers. These competitions take place during the IJA Festival. There are three categories of the IJA Stage Championships: Individuals (individual participants), Teams (two or more participants per team) and Juniors (individual participants up to 17 years of age). The first three places in each category receive medals and cash prizes.
The Numbers Championships award gold, silver and bronze medals to the participants who can juggle the most balls, clubs or rings the longest. These competitions take place in three categories: singles, duos and trios. The current IJA records can be viewed on the IJA website. Since 2006 there has also been prize money for every winner of a numbers competition as well as an extra prize for everyone who breaks an existing IJA record.
Other competitions within the scope of the annual IJA Festival are the Individual Prop Competition, the Extreme Juggling Competition and the World Joggling Championships as well as other traditional juggling games.
