The International University of Management ( IUM ) in Namibia is a private, state-recognized university . In 2014 the IUM was ranked 753rd among the best universities in Africa.
The university offers bachelor's and master's degrees in the areas of “strategic management ” and “ information technology ”.
IUM founding chairman and rector David Namwandi resigned from his office on March 21, 2010, as he was appointed vice minister of education . From 2012 to 2015 he was Minister of Education.
Kampen
The facility has branch offices in Swakopmund , Walvis Bay and Ongwediva and (as of October 2015) is building a campus in Nkurenkuru . It emerged in 2002 from the Institute for Higher Education founded in 1993 .
A new campus was built in the Dorado Park district at the end of 2008 and opened on April 26, 2011.
