aims

The conference sees itself as an alternative to the Munich Security Conference in terms of content . It is funded by the Culture Department of the City of Munich . Cancellation of the 2020 conference

After the conference in December 2019 initially unloaded the Jewish SPD city councilor Marian Offman , who was supposed to speak a greeting from the state capital of Munich on behalf of Mayor Dieter Reiter , because he, like the city council majority , is an opponent of the “ Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions ” campaign , the decision was criticized as anti-Semitic by the Bavarian anti-Semitism commissioner Ludwig Spaenle, among others . The organizers then canceled the event entirely.
