The Intertainment AG is a German media company based in Feldafing . The core business is the acquisition and exploitation of film rights and film licenses, the production and co-production of films, the distribution and transmission of audio and video data via various means of communication and merchandising . The company's share is traded in the General Standard and is included in the CDAX .

history

The company was founded on September 29, 1998 with a new entry in the commercial register with headquarters in Munich . On February 8, 1999, the company went public on the Neuer Markt of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange . With the money from the IPO, further film rights were acquired. Until the dot-com bubble burst , the business model was seen as promising. The company's share became part of the Nemax50 and rose to over EUR 139. In early 2006, the company needed after a legal dispute with the Hypo Vereinsbank a bankruptcy petition ask. The share price fell to 0.40 euros.

In June 2018, the company moved its headquarters to Feldafing.
