Ioana Badea

Ioana Badea (born March 22, 1964 in Odobeşti , Dâmbovița district ) is a former Romanian rower .

The 1.80 m tall Badea took fifth place at the 1983 World Championships with the Romanian eighth . In 1984 Anișoara Sorohan and Ioana Badea changed from eight to double fours . Together with Maricica Țăran , Sofia Corban and taxwoman Ecaterina Oancia , they won the final at the 1984 Olympic Games with one second ahead of the boat from the host country.
