Ipomoea suffulta is a plant type from the genus of Morningglory ( Ipomoea ) from the family of wind plants (Convolvulaceae). The species is common in Mexico .
description
Ipomoea suffulta is a small, herbaceous climber whose stem is hairy with short bristles. The foliage leaves and also the foliage -leaf-like bracts are hairy on both leaf sides with slim, bulbous, thickened trichomes at the base . The seated leaf blade is rounded heart-shaped or kidney-shaped-heart-shaped, 2 to 5 cm long and about as wide or slightly wider.
The flowers stand individually (or occasionally in pairs) in the axils of the leaves and are often covered by the folded bract except for the crown. The sepals are 5 to 6 mm long and unevenly shaped, the outer ones are elliptical-oval and the inner ones are elongated and blunt. The crown is funnel-shaped, 6 to 8 cm long, hairless on the outside and pink to purple in color.

The species is distributed in southern Mexico , a single collection is also known from Guatemala .
