Irène is a romantic comedy from 2002 and the film debut of the French director Ivan Calbérac .

action

Irène lives in Paris, is 30 years old and actually quite satisfied, also with her work as a lawyer in a company. Although she lives in the city of love, she has not had romantic relationships for a long time. Her friends may be single body and soul, but their parents keep asking her if there isn't a man in her life. Unfortunately, she falls in love with seemingly unreachable men like her colleague Luca. In fact, there is only one: François, the craftsman who paints Irène's apartment and really gets on her nerves.

criticism

The film service described the film as a "predictable romantic comedy that wants to describe a new urban lifestyle with the ups and downs of a single life". However, the debut film could score “with some pretty dialogues and a likeable leading actress”.
