Irakli Kortua ( Russian Ираклий Кортуа ; Georgian ირაკლი ქორთუა ; born October 15, 1987 in Gagra , Abkhazian ASSR ) is a Georgian football player. He was most recently under contract with Dinamo Sukhum in the Abkhaz League .

life and career

Irakli Kortua, born in Abkhazia, started playing professional football in 2004 at FC Gagra Tbilisi in the Georgian league . Then he was brought to the second team of Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine. In 2006 he was loaned from there to Tawrija Simferopol , but did not appear in Simferopol. Kortua then moved to the Latvian club SK Blāzma , where he stayed from 2006 to 2008 and was on the field almost 40 times. In the 2009 season he was part of the team of FC Dinaburg , also in the Latvian league. In 2009 he returned to his old club Gagra Tbilisi.

In 2012 he was part of the Dinamo Sukhum team in Abkhazia. According to his association, he also has Abkhazian citizenship.
