Irena Šiaulienė (born February 19, 1955 in Kolainiai , Kelmė district ) is a Lithuanian social democratic politician , vice-chairwoman of the Seimas (2017-).

Life

After graduating from secondary school in 1973 at Pavandenė ( Telšiai district ), she graduated with honors from the Vilniaus universitetas in 1978 with a diploma in history and in 1987 received her doctorate on Komsomol (on the subject of "Lietuvos komjaunimas - Komunistų partijos pagalbingalinkas kovojant uęvoęvo jos stiprinje ą jos stiprinje. 1940 -1941 metais ").

From 1978 to 1990 she taught at the Politechnikum Klaipėda , at the Klaipėda Faculty at the Kauno politechnikos institutas , from 1990 lecturer at the Klaipėdos universitetas .

From 1992 to 2004 (at LDDP ) and from 2004 to 2008 she was a member of the Seimas , in 1997 a member of the Klaipėda City Council of the LSDP , and of the LSDDP in the Seimas since 2017 .
