Irene Reicherts-Born
Irene Reicherts-Born (born February 11, 1924 in Bingen am Rhein , † November 22, 1986 there ) was a German painter and illustrator.
Life
She studied at the Werkkunstschule Offenbach (1942–1945) a. a. with Willy Meyer and the Kunstakademie Schloss Ellingen (1946–1947) with Max Körner . From 1950 to the 1960s, Reicherts-Born illustrated a number of school and children's books, e. B. My primer and world in the word . Her painterly work mainly includes landscapes and portraits, as well as flowers and still lifes, using various techniques (watercolor, charcoal, ink, acrylic and mixed media).
